Why Your Studio Is Invisible… And How to Fix it!!

Over the past 5 months, I have interviewed 75+ studio owners. These have been massive 1 to 2 hour interviews.

In these interviews, I have discovered a number of “common problems” that these studio owners experience in their studio growth…

In this video, I go in depth on how to 5X, 10X, or even 23X your traffic (including examples from my own studio and several studios that work with me).

Additionally, I cover these topics:

  • The math behind getting all of the students you could ever want
  • How I consistently pulled 200 lesson requests per year using only 1 super simple studio growth method – and how I could get double that if I wanted
  • How to be found in your local area or online – nationally or globally! You can do this without spending hours every week editing videos, making podcasts, managing a half dozen social media channels, or paying other people to do all of that pointless stuff

Conclusion

As I mentioned in the video, I still continue to learn how to make marketing and growth easier for music studio owners.

This video is the culmination of a lot of time and research that I put into our industry over the past 6 months.

If you want to 10X or 20X the number of people who find your studio, this video shows the simplest way I know of doing that.

What do you think? What questions do you have? Let me know in the comments!

Do you offer the solutions for the Direct Response? Would we pay you to hold our hand and build the funnel?

Very interesting Daniel, appreciate your years of experience and analysis. I am a long-time teacher that is switching to group adult lessons and wanting to grow my studio quickly. I have spent the last 3 months going around in circles as you have described in this video. What I have learned has been invaluable, however what I’m focused on now is results. I want to attract adult learners. I live in a large city in Canada and think I have a good target market. Can you see how your system would work for my smaller niche market? My website would need lead optimization and lead optimized landing pages for sure at minimum, something I was just looking into which is why I may have stumbled upon you. Look forward to hearing from you.

What if we are looking to add only 25 students…and don’t need 100 calls a month? My current family and health situation makes it untimely to start a music school. What do you suggest?

      Vivian, it’s a good question.

No matter how many students you need… a good foundation must be laid. I.e., optimizing your online presence, creating a formal offer for your studio, making sure that you have laid that groundwork.

After that it is a matter of choosing the tactics that will get you to your goals.

Many studios choose to do Google Ads at a minimum… simply because they can turn it on and off. I never took my studio over 100 students… but the fact that I had 10x as many leads per year as I needed meant that I was able to raise my rates by 40% over a 3 year period.

I hope that answers the question. If not… reach out to me, I’d love to answer any additional questions you might have – or get into the particular nuances of your studio!

I get that I need to advertise in these three places but have no idea how. Google maps? I don’t get it. How do I put my teaching website on these three places?

Jude – to get visible on Google maps, you need to set up a Google My Business profile and optimize your listing.

Reach out if you want to help on doing that!
