Date Night at Your Music School! [7FMS Ep. #107]

by Daniel Patterson

Happy Valentine’s Day!

We’ve got a good one for you today.

In honor of the “holiday of love”… I convinced Nate to do an episode on a special program they have at Brooklyn Music Factory:

Date night!

Parents drop off the kids at BMF for their Date Night…

And kids have a blast in this special 3-hour program.

In this episode, we discuss:

– What’s date night?
– How does it work?
– Why does BMF do it?
– How profitable is it for BMF?
– The underlying principles that make special programs work in your school

I just listened to episode #107. What a Valentine’s Day treat. So many ideas here to try. My studio size is big, but in the lower level of my house. I think I would need to rent another space to try something like this or limit the number of students. I’ll put my thinking cap on. It would be a great way to implement more of my games for students, plus allow parents some time for themselves.
