Building an Online Lessons Brand (w. Kaitlyn D.) [7FMS Ep. #92]

by Daniel Patterson

For the past few years, a growing number of music teachers and music school owners have thought beyond their local geography and asked:

“Could I sell lessons online?”

“Could I sell some sort of music course or music membership online?”

My observation is that – while this is possible – it’s very different than selling lessons locally.

In today’s episode, we brought back on Kaitlyn Davidson who has spent the last few years building an online lessons brand alongside her really successful local studio.

In this interview, we talk about how to market online lessons, the differences between local vs online, how to use YouTube to get customers, and the advice she would give those who would like to live the “laptop lifestyle” as a music teacher.

This episode is “all killer, no filler”!

Kaitlyn is super direct, to-the-point, and gives many insights that will help you in your desire to grow, scale, and live a relaxed lifestyle as an owner.

If you are a local school owner, there is a lot to learn in this episode.
