A year and a half ago, Nate and I made an unusual podcast episode.

It wasn’t about something that we learned “on the job”…

It was about an experiment that Nate was running.

Instead of talking about a past success… Nate got vulnerable and talked about a change that he was experimenting with in his school.

Namely, how they trained and developed their teachers.

Nate talked about what they had been previously doing, what he was trying to improve, and his “hypothesis”… i.e., what they were going to be doing different in 2023 in their teacher training, their staff meetings, and their overall teacher development.

During that episode (all the way back in episode 56!!!!), we promised to follow up on this at some point in the future.

Well, we are making good on that promise!

Just over 80 episodes later… Nate is back to report the good, the bad, and the ugly about the long-term effects of these changes.
